Canter On Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Canter On

May we overdose on love as such
Our hearts are pounding concord
Smitten with a romance inasmuch
Two souls can journey toward

Breathing the wind of each other's breath
Blending arteries and veins
Riding a horse nearer unto death
Clutching equestrian reins.
