Car Dreams Poem by Katrina Lusk

Car Dreams

In the car I take a seat.
Mommy buckles me up.
It's okay though I have my sippy cup.
The radio turns on.
I swing my feet as I hum along.
Oh look up there in the sky!
I see birds and planes
having fun while they fly.
Soon I doze off and begin to dream.
There are rescue bots and cats in trees.
Flying stingray
and monsters fighting.
The firefighters save the day.
I wake up as Mommy opens the door.
Oh wow we are at the store!
