People come and people go
With no clear direction
Some seem to travel through life
With no real expectations
They life their lives one day at time
They don't worry about making plans
They seem to along just fine
Doing as little as they can
They look at people like you and I
They shake their heads and laugh
They watch us scurry through the day
While they slowly take their own path
Time for them is not of the essence
They believe they get more than they need
They have no desire for material things
Because their aim is not greed
They live a life carefree and easy
As they meander through each day
Taking what life throws at them
Keeping the good, throwing the rest away
They could care less about the struggles
That so many face each day
There whole existence is built on having less
While others work to bring home more pay
