Caring And Helping Poem by Randy McClave

Caring And Helping

If I needed a dollar
I must always scream and holler,
If I needed help or assistance around
I must look and look until it is found.
If I need hope or a prayer
No one is ever there,
And then when I close and open my eyelid
Seemingly, everyone has hid.
When I have problems upon my soul
Everyone will quickly go,
And when with my problems I need to speak
Everyone says they'll be back next week.
And if I ever need help or assistance
There is always excuses for resistance,
And when unto me heartache has incurred
Crickets are heard.

But, when the situation is reversed
I am always asked or needed first,
When anyone, anywhere needs help or me
I will happily be their hero and company.
