- Carousel Poem by Georgios Venetopoulos

- Carousel

The carousel round goes their verses' gist

as solitude dispels the perfume of primrose

- two Tango dancing figures fade in mist

- the carousel round goes.

And the enfolding of the silence slows,

in truth advances her responses kiss'd,

betimes the corteges of night depose.

Disporting round trajectories persist,

their merriment of altered times disclose;

- In raining drops two figures dance, amidst,

- the carousel round goes.
