Plitvice Lakes National Park
In Croatia, a tour must include
Here natural beauty seems
To be stored all in one place.

River Plitvica takes a great fall
Of about 90 meters on one side
Big Fall is one main attraction
Several small rivers're another branch.

They form a cascade of sixteen lakes
Descending about 130 meters overall
Each of the lakes developed separately
By a naturally created dam over time.

A foot trail is created using lumber
Terrain's full of vegetation all green
Eye pleasing scenery all around
A pleasant feeling fills up the mind.

After two hours of walk up and down
We stop for a while a relaxing break
A boat ride takes us to the starting point
A memorable visit captured to rejuvenate.
