Cassia Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Cassia

Myrrh, aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces;
The movement of the mountains and the seas are seen by many!
And of the waters that roared and formed,
For your love was lost last night.
There is a river whose streams will gladden your hearts,
And of one's love so sweet to share;
So why have you broken down the hedges of your love? !
For all who pass by will now pluck and eat your fruit.
