Cast Away Poem by Harry Gray

Cast Away

I used to sit upon a stool
And stare out at the ocean blue
While unconsciously mustering thoughts
That bounced and bumped
And leaped and munched
On any positive image that one’s mind could wrought.
So I did what anyone would do
I cast them into the waters, to set my mind anew.

I enjoyed the rhythm... great choice of words!
