Ice cream was a favorite treat
Of the Cuban Fidel Castro.
Gobs of it daily he would eat,
Something enemies came to know.
A poison pill was stuck inside
Some ice cream served to Castro with
The wished result that Castro died.
What happened next be fact or myth?
Castro did gulp the ice cream down,
And lived long after eating more,
Causing his enemies to frown.
Killing Castro would be a chore.
