Cat & Dog Tail Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Cat & Dog Tail

Rating: 5.0

Cat in the house and dog in the yard
Wonder why there are so many stars
Fell on my face and I got a scar
Then I had toast with jelly from a jar

Write you a story and make it rhyme
But words are often hard to find
The music doesn't always come out right
And sometimes I just want to call it a night

Sometimes I'm happy and sometimes I'm sad
Sometimes I wonder why others are glad
Somethings are famous and then there a fad
And sometimes you wonder what you really had

Walking with a smile down the street
I like to hear the birds they sound sweet
I like to see a butterfly float that's neat
But walking down the street kind of hurts my feet

Cat's in the yard and dog in the house
I once had a wife but now I don't have a spouse
Thinking about it and contemplating my friend
Some how I feel I'm better off then I was then

I once was young but now I'm old
And I don't quite remember everything I've been told
But one thing I think and that I believe
Is God loves you and God loves me

We need to forgive and to respect
Don't stab each other in the back or deal from under the deck
Treat each other like we want to be treated
And that's wise advise that should be repeated and repeated

Cat is asleep and the dog really snores
I hope this poem didn't make you bored
I can't think of anymore to say
So I'll bid you farewell and have a good day
