Catch-22 Poem by Elijah Baguma

Catch-22

Rating: 4.5

Feels like I am in the wilderness
Jammed with fog downsizing my vision.
Striving to discover the right path but each path
Leads to the same destination, Nowhere!

My mind is compact with what am supposed to do
But too frost to do a thing! It's congested with
What I need but can't get that need!
My heart is void, no soul to overflow it with hope.

Prayer is a doctrine I nolonger comprehend.
I feel cast away in bewilderment; Dubious about
God's endurance and our alliance seemingly
Fractured, with no chance for revival or rebirth

In a state of entanglement; Feeling like am confined
In my own torment, My limbs in shackles,
Locomotion is unfeasible. Magnetism restraining me
From advancing to a locale quite distinguishable.

I am cemented between the devil and the deep blue sea
East or West, no 'home', not any alternative to be seen.
Feels like am suffocating in my very own skin
Condemnation can not nullify this sentiment
Neither can positivism, It's a Hard nut to crack!
