Cathedral Clock Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Cathedral Clock

How
Many
Times
I
Heard
Strike the cathedral clock?

The life be in the union and
Transformation of the so-called
Separate
As were one
Connected by the multitude
Of
Currents

Basked
And
Burnt
By
The
Law
Of boiling
(and/or thawing)
Up
To
Inverted S-Shaped Motion

They were seeking honor
But not trumpets
They were seeking sacred
But not gold:
They were the cutting edge of the diamond
And
The restive
Slumber of more ruly
Night
Despite
Despite….

How
Many
Times
I
Heard
Strike the cathedral clock?
