Cathedral Of Light Poem by Phil J Hambling

Cathedral Of Light

Winter sunburst
Defiant in its faith
Pouring shafted rays across a resentful sea
Unfolding a cathedral of spectral light
Full of iridescent prayers of warmer times
And a promise of the coming spring crucified at the hands of the jealous clouds
