Cathedral Of The Osages - Poem by Marilyn Lott

It would be a delight and a privilege
To enter this extraordinary church
If you’re looking for a religious place for you
This could be the end of your search

Stained glass windows are unbelievable
One depicting the arrival of Columbus
Osages still attend the church today
They seize their beliefs with fierceness

For you will find God nestled in these walls
Amongst the beauty so plain to see
But God is with us everywhere, of course
Always there for you and for me

Some churches have amazing history
That goes back many centuries in time
But it’s what is deep inside your heart
Directing the message that you will find!
