Caught Off Guard Poem by Ima Ryma

Caught Off Guard

Joey and his folks did come for
A nice visit with Gram, and I
Could not have been pleased any more
Than time with this three year old guy.
Lots of new games I learned to play,
And lots of reading stories had.
Finishing breakfast for the day,
Joey was with his Mom and Dad.
I had a little time no doubt
For a quick alone time to be.
When from the shower I stepped out,
There stood Joey staring at me.

Joey had this comment upon,
'Gram, you don't have your glasses on.'
