Centuries From Now

In centuries from now stories will be told
Of legendary people of the days of old
And for the returned from war soldiers a big street parade
It is out of young warriors that heroes are made
And there will be more elite sports people and popular entertainers for to celebrate
The impressionable masses their own heroes create
And ageing men in pubs past greats will recall
Though change does occur some things don't change at all
And with every new midnight another day gone
And time that rusts iron does keep ticking on
And people are quickly beyond their lives prime
Eventually everyone lose out to time
In centuries from now people for jobs will compete
And in pubs and clubs to socialize will meet.
