We are of the box
Blissfully unaware
Insulated from the winds of change
The box gives structure
Saves us from ourselves
Protecting against the need to think
The box is rigid
Never allowing room to grow
Holding in place the ways of their world
The box is the box
Hollow and needy
We are just empty vessels
We think their thoughts
The box lacks substance
But substance can briefly escape the box
Only to hide in the boxes critical shadow
Living in the box
Makes us so very square
Claustrophobic
Think outside the box
Reject the box
Brake free
Be yourself
