Chale The Cholo Poem by Juan Olivarez

Chale The Cholo

Chale the cholo, rides around in his car,
His lowrider special he nicknamed the Star.
Cruising the streets and just being cool,
Red bandana and Oakleys, he's nobody's fool.

On the southside of town is where he roams,
If he sees you he'll smile and say wasappening Holmes.
He's gonna be cruising till the wheels wear down,
With his hydraulics screaming all over town.
