Changes Poem by Wolf the poet

Changes

As we age and grow older
at most times we tend to be wise
flaws we have yes but still we rise
uphold the society norms and bury the vice
yes changes is inevitable

time defines change
and as the clock ticks
and the tongue clicks
a new being comes to live
yes change is inevitable
the best version of us all
always fighting to resurface
but the past clings refusing to let go
strangling from within
but with focus and determination we will break free

life is just but a string of lessons
the suffering that comes with it
the build up hate the strife
emotions both sweet and bitter pile up
all but one in the wheel of time

we are in a short calculated race
to the stars and the sky we gaze
emotions of joy and sadness cascades our face
not knowing that a day will come
the day not so easy to utter loud and escape
