Changing Routes; Stepping Into My Domain Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

Changing Routes; Stepping Into My Domain

Rating: 4.0

Wasted years
In faded tears
Stupid turns
In fruitless thoughts
Led me into a non-passionate career
And trending some long winding routes
Hmm!

I am changing my route
And stepping into a new domain
I do never care if I have broken any rule
And never reminisce on the pain
I will go and shame the fools
And there will be no rest until I gain
Hmm!

They felt I was successful
I felt I was in jeopardy
My new trend, to them, is wasteful
But to me it is trendy
From medicine to bar-tendering
The former was successful
The latter is passionate and joyful

My new domain, I just realized
Will never be rosy; but worth it
If I push and it fails I will pull
And at all cost I will break the rule
I have found joy in my new world
I am changing my routes and I am mesmerized
About stepping into a new domain
