Chaos In Mind Poem by Hayden Walstrom

Chaos In Mind

I sit on the cold forest floor
thinking about what lays ahead.
Thoughts swirl around
making me dizzy.
Confusion taking over
smothering my inner fire.
Longing for my only desire,
I wait for all of the chaos to stop,
before I move on to rekindle my lost flame.
No longer should I wait in shame,
for there is no need to.
Nor should I feel blue,
just because of the one I loved,
and thought I knew.
