Chaos In The Mind. Poem by Anjali Chand

Chaos In The Mind.

Rating: 4.8

When it's 2 A.M. in the night,
And life seems a mess.
I wonder about the little things,
The things, I shouldn't have said.

When monsters inside the head,
Make me inconsolable and restless.
Again I wonder about the things,
The things, I should have said.

When inside the heart,
There's an emotional earthquake.
When memories plunder the beats,
and no solace reduces the heartache.

When during the chatters,
I tell, I need no ardents.
When I fake my emotions,
I pretend, I don't care.

For all the promises,
I should have kept.
For all the unjust,
I should have stood against.

I regret for the truth not told,
Before it was too late.
I deplore the remorse,
Only after things meet their end.

Though, these are the calls of a stressed and distressed mind, the beauty of the expression tells us a different story. The poet is in full control of what she has to tell. Thanks, Anjali Chand.
