Charlie Poem by Paul Warren

Charlie

On his Mum's lap Charlie sits so quietly
Cuddling close with a lick for her occasionally
At other times he is together with Lucy
Exploring their world and running free

He loves his Mum and Dad
Happy in his life and never sad
At dinner time it's a bit of a race
With Lucy and Charlie eating at pace

Now he has been called away
Across the Rainbow Bridge to stay
As he waits patiently wagging his tail
To be with his Mum and Dad to complete again the tale.
