Chasing After A Shy One Poem by james watkin

Chasing After A Shy One

Idolize me, but furtively!
Give me my conceited room
A prey to invent, as for one
Ravenous-eyed in the gloom.

Between ourselves tension place.
Let my being grasped of you
Be a joy unheard of, save
This self-tormenting through.
