Chasing Tomorrow Poem by Julie Neises

Chasing Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

Time moves swiftly through
taking youth away.
There is no past or future,
only now, here today.
As the pendulum continues
swinging to and fro.
Children are told 'No, '
'wait for tomorrow.'
But if we keep on waiting
'til tomorrow becomes today.
Obeying will cost us more
than throwing time away.
