Cherished goals so clear, organic amorphous
True at core, accreted drafts and compromises
Imperfect ripe, blemish rife, discard, devour or savor,
Embrace regret, swear solemn vow amend
Or will aspirations focus inadvertently expire?
Aphelion from comfort zone
Voyager excused adrift, reality’s stinging gamble
Beyond harsh crack of croupiers belt
Destination inward outwards
Up hill alone steepening grade
Roll blood washed wounds promised plan,
Exponential cans of worm holes.
Desert lies awash with seeds
Post deluge, pollinator’s dilemma.
Generations strain yearn escape velocity
Uniqueness, kudos, greatness beyond parents
Dispel acrid validation fix avowed hint of nod
Line from lookout, shoulders of giants
Invisible threads string sage tinted pearls,
Faces misshapen press double locked windows
Yen blinding brightness glistening within
Forsaking warmth, prize mesmerizing glare
Recount journey against hand, sit pat or
Rehydrate fruit, imperfect past best by
Coating in folklore and inflict innocent babes
Resurrecting cherished goals,
So clear, perfunctory.
