Chess Warriors Poem by Sumit Ganguly

Chess Warriors

Rating: 4.0

Chess boards and pieces have two colours
Black and white-the eternal warriors
There is no apartheid
King is the titular head
To them
Fight is game
They always fight on the board
And never venture to invade the road.
When fight is over
They live together.

The chess game is a fine metaphor in a pleasingly philosophical poem. You are very talented, Sumit. Tom Billsborough

Thanks for articulating a philosophical idea with the help of pieces placed on a chess board. I have enjoyed reading the poem. Thanks.
