Child Of Mystery Poem by Roxane Spar

Child Of Mystery

Rating: 4.8

Gliding through the air in silence
Beyond the sky immense
Past is gone, I don’t think of tomorrow
Peaceful mind, I just let go

Screams get into my head
Light hurts my eyes, I awake
Little voice calling me
Little hands needing me

Crazy world, beautiful world
Where’s my reality? Where’s my subtlety?
Down the path of principles
I expect the best of all
Looking for ways to improve
Looking for ways to elude

Busy mind around the clock
Sleepless nights, wander my thoughts
Watch the old lady around the block
Standing at the edge of doubts
Safe balance between dreams and truth
Will save the secrets of my youth

May the world spin, increase its velocity
I close my eyes and bring back your memory
Innocent moments that we used to share
Happiness in loneliness, oh so rare
I need your energy, Child of Mystery
From the distance, help me fight negativity

Laughs and music coming to my ears
I’ll go with the flow and hide my tears
The children are singing, life seems so simple
Why do I think so much? Life is not a riddle

I came across this beautiful poem just in passing. It's so wonderful! The title of the poem attracted me and took me through. So nicely worded! 'Laughs and music coming to my ears I’ll go with the flow and hide my tears The children are singing, life seems so simple Why do I think so much? Life is not a riddle ' - that's just beautiful!
