Child's Play - Poem by Keane Willis

I believed you truly loved me I thought you were the best,
The best thing that ever happened to me ever since I came from my mothers split,
You told me you’ll always be there you’ll always be my love, but now that I’ve seen the real true you I guess it was all made up,
You never really cared you never really shared; you kept how you truly felt about things locked up away from me,
I thought you were special I thought you were kind but, now I can see your nothing but a lie,
I believed in you and made sure you was safe, now I can see that it was just a mistake,
For now I truly see it all just child’s play
