Childhood Dream Poem by Nicholas Franklin Chong

Childhood Dream

Rating: 5.0

I'll learn how to mix the cement.
I'll learn how to lay the bricks.
I'll learn how to structure the scaffold.
I'll learn how to source the water.
I'll learn how to lay the tiles.
I'll learn how to shade the rooms.
I'll learn how they all fit together.

I'll build a house.

And one day,
I'll build a home.

Your two poems are a pleasure to read. I am sure that you have a lot more poems stored in the vaults of your heart in the wonderful oceans of your memory and in the light of your soul. Please keep writing, Nicholas.
