Children Of The Fouth Vow Poem by Rey Benipayo

Children Of The Fouth Vow

I've been married more than twice
Had a seven children in my life
Love strucks me four times
But in the end, it's all but tragedy
It's all part of life.

The first time I vow,
I was young and innocent
He was a rich man who died on his sleep
I had one child on him, a woman
Now a drug addict.

The second time I vow,
It was a year after the first's death
He was my driver, he died of car accident
I have one child on him, a man
I don't know where he is, he's an NPA

The third time I vow
It was two years after the second's death
I was a well known business woman then
He's a politician and died of EJK
We have no child for he's sterile

The last time I vow,
Was unexpected and he's my true love
My soulmate who I'm waiting for years
It was one year after the third's death
He's a writer, author of many romantic books

We had four children all are men
The eldest is now a great politician
The second is now a great actor
The third is now a wealthy businessman
And youngest is now a well known doctor

My fouth and final vow never died
But he had an accident that made him
Lives life on a wheelchair, he's a writer anyway
We both still living a wealthy life today
Happy and proud parent on our senior stage.
