Chilly Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Chilly

The chill in the air
Makes me guess
Autumn is there.

Soon after, winter
Will enter....

Winter I dread --
Flu it will spread.

I don't fear dying.

But if I say, I cherish
Living, that would be
Lying.

That's sad to hear, Unnikrishnan Ji. In the winter, please wrap up warm and take care.

But death is a blessing compared to the agony of gasping for wisp of air…

Hmm! Nice one! ‘Winter I dread too! Not in fear of flu, for the winter flu is not that common or dreaded in India. But I am allergic to almost everything and it causes heavy wheezing. I feel, death is close by.
