China (Bogus Beggars) Poem by U Win Kyi

China (Bogus Beggars)

There were 2 beggars
one crying and the other injured.
The injured's knee was bandaged.
He seemed suffering from pain and ache.
His face so grimmaced.
The bandage was soaked with red blood.
His clothes smeared with dirt.
His shoes dirtied with mud.
He couldn't stand up.
The crying one told a pitiful story,
about how poor they were and had no money.
They were asking people to do some charity
by giving them some penny.
The people asked them to go to a public hospital
as the injured's life so much in danger.
The wound seemed to bleed...so profuse
but going to hospital they both refused.
Then the people called the cops.
The beggars started to run away from the very spot.
The red blood turned out to be pig blood.
The beggars were so bogus.
In good Samaritan spirit people lose faith.
They really hate those kinds of fake.
