Chitchats Poem by Dennis Go

Chitchats

We've barely known each other long
Just eager chitchats, keyboard talk.

Always ready for a cyber walk
Through memory lane or daily wagers,
Recycled thoughts and petty favors.

Laughed out loud and cried with tears...
Bit the bullet, shared your fears.

But truth just brewed an obvious claim.
I realize now the price of pain.

You can't be mine.

Such bitter feelings
Taunt my weary heart again.
