Chivalry Without Creed Poem by james watkin

Chivalry Without Creed

Chivalry without creed
Knightliness without spit
Of blood's red, to begrime
Armour blazoned with it.

Love, down from its high-horse
Rescues, what pure and frail
Holds all God's fleshed temples
Heart-broke as Holy Grail.
