Chlorine, Chlorine, Syanide

Poem by Riel Tizzano

summertime-chemical burns
leave you knee deep in the chlorine
the sting, yes it kills
but the pollen hurts more
water shadows take over
yes dear, it's blinding
put rags in the sockets
(they rid of infection)

i my head i can see your sad eyes looking down at the paper, turning blank white into expression, feeling the words as you write them.(Report)Reply
