Choc. Addiction

It was past debate:
chocolate was spoiling your skin.
You limited what you ate.

Intense came in;
flavored orange and berry.
You inhaled.
Skin spoiled again.
You limited again.

Intense was upped to Addiction.
Soon, you couldn't do without.
You tolerated skin affliction.

The name
was shortened to Addict:
it fit better on the pack.
'Whatever, ' you said,
squeezing your back.
