Choices Poem by Alice Cordy

Life is about choices,
starting with our inner voices.
Listen to every beat of our hearts,
even from the very start.
Our mind constantly thinks,
though there maybe a few missing links.

Blood flows through our veins,
like storm clouds filling up with rain.
Decisions have to be made,
feeling ever so afraid.

We all have choices in life,
from being single, to husband and wife.
Don't live it full of lies,
it's all about compromise.

Compromise on what you want to achieve,
as you are the one whom needs to believe.
Believe in your own abilities,
as they are your own responsibilities.
Look at all your options
your life is your own celebration.

Admit where you're wrong,
so you can sing your happy song.
Don't judge or criticise,
give encouragement and praise.
No matter if their good or bad,
happy or sad.
You have a choice to change them,
and get away from any mayhem.

Life is your choice,
so sit back and rejoice.
It is your destiny, body and soul,
you are the one in control.

Choice is a strong word,
Lets sing and let it be heard.
