I'M Sorry!
I'm sorry for causing you so much pain
making your eyes drip like rain
I'm sorry for giving you hope
As I couldn't cope.
I'm sorry for not having the same feelings as you
and I need to be true
I'm sorry I honestly tried
only feeling that I have lied
I'm sorry I lied to myself on how I felt
for hiding behind a well tight belt
I'm sorry for holding my emotional within,
deeply under my skin
I'm sorry for trying to hide from them,
for cause any mayhem
I'm sorry that I was scared of hurting you
deep down, I just knew
I'm sorry there was no other way,
As I felt that it had to end that day.
I couldn't continue on this path
Trying to hide from whatever the aftermath
I'm sorry truly to a dear friend
a friend to my life end
I really want to say I'm sorry.
You write so beautifully Alice and put everything out there for the world to see, I hope if the person this is for dosen`t think it`s meant for me, LOLA your BUD
It is a terrible feeling that eats at you when you believe you have hurt someone. Yet I do believe that overall the worrying that we do is way more then what the friend is hurting. Give yourself a big smile Alice for your big heart.
