Christ Walks On Water Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Christ Walks On Water

Christ Walks On Water

Words are coming out from the lips.
Strolling into the woods,

Words are walking on waters,
Caressing gently the earlobes of these island people,

Surmounting wave's riding songs with the signals, everywhere sparkes,
the radios and the electricity

Into these tired souls and nothing will be of the same conundrums,

Nothing could compare with the choruses,
Brushing your face, uplifting your greying hairs

Holy thoughts with cerebral significance,

In supreme worship,
Front pews to rows upon rows of listeners and from the church pulpits

Dispersing these empty sojourns, these years of unholy thoughts,
Dispels all these darkness,

Clarity brings a new visions, new dawn amd new hopes,
Now you know why Christ walks on the water.
