Christ, You Defeated Twice
Christ, You defeated twice:
Once, dooming
people to sodomy
and saving them the second time -,
for the faith in Thy power.
And Christ won all the time:
once dooming
to the occasion for falldown,
then - forcing them
to see that it is glooming.
Christ won over the Gloom:
once giving
Its light Cross -
as from Paradise,
and took it then away
by Crown.
