Thus...the charade this nation should follow
.....Low.....and behold
Maintaining control....
An arrogance too abhorrent to swallow

...Moral.....insanity
Crime against humanity....
Historically known for the company it keeps
...Slavery...the Klan
Dastardly deeds against Man
Varied...infectious ideologies....long reaped

Imposing loud voices
......Limiting of choices
"Opinionated"....how society might live
....Meddling in others' affairs
Instead of sticking to theirs
....Scoundrels....without advice to give

Beyond this bastion of sorrow
......Look to the morrow
Though the past has been hideously bleak
....Ultimately....discerning
It's all about learning
