Christmas Poem by nicola burkett

Christmas

Rating: 5.0

A wreath on the door
Decorations on the wall
A Christmas tree in the living room
And holly in the hall

A very frosty winter
Children playing in the snow
Looking up towards the sky
As they hear a Ho-Ho-Ho!

Houses all light up
With twinkling fairy lights
Children tucked up warm
Early on Christmas Eve night

We watch the Queens speech
Which doesn’t last long
Gathered around the piano
We sing some carol songs

Those silly games we play
We do it every year
Smelly cheeses and mulled wine
A home full of holiday cheer
