Christmas At Church Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Christmas At Church

At christmas time!
Church hall set paints for old grime,
Joy flooding the day hold men all dutiful-
Priests tread as flying angels in beauty blues
There's smiles upon every little boys' face,
A virgin play her fingers with flowers in vase
Put one to her chest like a baby in her arms.

At christmas time!
A big black upright piano thus hymn,
"Holy mary bless all mothers' womb"
Fill the oil of our cup with moresome
Our days and ages, these candles not cease light
Nothing more pleasing, your peace is right!
To see you someday shine so lovely in your glory.
