Christmas Dinner Poem by A.E.K.G Navrilith

Christmas Dinner

A pie or two,
A pot of tea,
A slice of cake,
And chocolates three.
A bowl of trifle,
A port; some cheese,
More beef sandwiches if you please.

Christmas cake,
Some wine; some beer,
Another baileys over here,
Granddad wants a whiskey too,
I’ll have one; how about you?
Auntie’s had too much already,
She’s spent an hour talking to my teddy.

Crisps and crackers,
Nuts galore,
Now I can’t fit through the door.
And now we’re all full of cheer,
Let’s do it all again next year.
