Christmas Spirit Enlivened Poem by Dr John Celes

The Christmas spirit catches all
The Christian people globally,
As winter's freezing chill is on,
And birth of Jesus happens fast.

May peace and joy of Christmas rain
Upon the world and usher cheer
In hearts and minds of young and old,
As manger's lights are lit again.

Oh, what a way God's love was shown
To human race in Bethlehem,
As baby boy in swaddled clothes
Was worshiped by shepherds and kings.

O baby Jesus, heal the world!
Forgive our sinfulness, dear lord;
More devils infest world today,
And cause much havoc, unheard of.
