Christmas Tree Remembrance Poem by Meg Harrison

Christmas Tree Remembrance

Rating: 4.3

When I see the star on top of my Christmas tree,
It reminds me of the star shining on Christmas Eve
which led the wise men to the baby Jesus.
I know my Christmas tree is evergreen
the evergreen never changes
and reminds me of God who made us;
His love is everlasting and He lives forever.
I notice my Christmas tree has the fragrance of pine.
It reminds me of the myrrh; A wise man gave Jesus.
When I see a angel on my Christmas tree
It reminds me of an angel Gabriel sent by God,
Who appeared to Mary, He told her
that she would have a son named Jesus.
I look at the colorful lights on my Christmas tree,
That reminds me, We are celebrating Jesus birth.
I look at the many gifts under the tree.
I feel the presence of Mary, Jesus and Joseph
And what the three wise men gave their son.
Sometimes I look at the star
on top of the tree and I think of you.
