Christs Way Poem by Phil Daniels

Christs Way

Rating: 5.0

My Christ my Christ He died for me
To give me a ticket to Heaven free
And all the delights of this world enthral
Oh now this life will be one ball

Is this what my Christ has said
I'm sorry but it's not what I have read
He died for me a new life begin
Not to wallow in flesh and worldly sin

But Satan comes in my ear to talk
Come ride the pleasure boat don't walk
I'll give you all these worldly pleasures
Wont tell you of your stolen treasures

My Christ He tells of a heavenly place
I can reach if I run His race
His word I must read and place in my heart
And all His instructions obey never depart

He tells me if ever I stumble and fall
He'll pick me up and forgive them all
Brush off the dirt place me back on my feet
Holding my hand we walk that path so sweet

Oh yes my Christ died for me and you
To open the way to heaven it's true
He showed us the light the truth the way
So please try, try for Him to obey
