In the city's heart, where voices rise and fall,
Walks the Fakir, Ilyas, humble through it all.
'Curse me, for I am but a simple man, ' he says,
'Yet around me, a circle of faith always stays.'
Through streets he roams, with a smile so mild,
Facing scorn and love, his heart never defiled.
'Judging souls is not my role to play, '
'In goodness and prayer, I find my way.'
Angry voices rise, 'A charlatan! ' they claim,
Yet, in his heart, Ilyas remains the same.
'Your words are but winds, passing me by, '
'In my circle of faith, under God's sky.'
And so, the hearts that once held spite,
Began to change, seeking the light.
Not through punishment, but a gentle nudge,
In their souls, they felt their grudges budge.
For Ilyas knew, as he walked his path,
That every action meets its karmic aftermath.
In prayer and peace, his heart did dwell,
In his circle of protection, all was well.
