Circumstances Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Consequences

Another waking up
And sitting all alone,
Wasting time to recall
The years I left behind!

My first guest is Hussein
Thin and young, paradox.

He spoke English,
Came from New York.

"I was on the bridge,
Smoking little weed,
Suddenly came police, "
He said and told me of
How was shipped to Iran.

Had left in time of shah
And returned after war
Things had changed…

Like the girl of High park
From the balcony to ground,
Had mental background
And problems, cases…

And police with plate
Full of junks and orders
Have nothing to do, serve,
Since puppets look, observe.

Hussein's heels were cracked
His outfit had turned rag…

He never showered, shaved
To live life, never cared…

I left that prison
Do not know what happened
To Hussein and others,
That should have not been there!

"Their looting, our shooting, "
I feel wrote Donald Trump!

No need to call him: "Dumb, "
Since he is far beyond…

I look at Joe Biden
Becoming president
A case of circumstances
Of choosing bad or worse!

Friends of the WhatsApp
And those on Telegram,
Keep mailing the nonsense,
Some sounding serious,
I recall York U. course
That we read the Bible
About John, Apostle…

Some compare the COVID
With the John's apocalypse…

Are we not in that time?
Are we not out of touch?
Love to find reason, cause
Brazilian's and Bengal's!
Why not be international?
Why not think of Taiwan?
Do we look at Hong Kong?
Who runs the UAE, Arabia?
Who shattered Libya, Syria?
Who caused pains to Natives?
Caribbean and Andes, Prairies?
Why do lie the Mullahs in Iran?

Oh, Great Lord, my God
If you have been around
Hear me and my heart:
"Politicians, Governments,
Go away, drop dead,
Let me live peaceful life
With nature, human, animals."
